I like my sleeves like my TV shows…dramatic! Speaking of dramatic TV shows, I just watched the season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones, and I’m living for allll of it. My life is pretty drama free, so I get my fix in the form of TV and movies. My current favorite shows are: Game of Thrones, Wentworth, Jane the Virgin, Orange is the New Black, Power (haven’t started season 4 yet!), Law & Order SVU, any of the Real Housewives franchises, Insecure and Younger.
Anyways, back to this top. There’s just something so glam and feminine about bell sleeves. I own a ton of tops and dresses with flared sleeves, but I’m not sure any will ever compare to these.
A good bell sleeve always gives a nice slimming effect, so I figured they’d balance out these boyfriend jeans, which tend to give me a boxier look (or so I thought). If you’ve got curves/thickness below the waistline, the struggle to find a good-fitting pair of jeans is real. I’d been avoiding trying this trend for awhile, but I finally found a pair of boyfriend jeans that flattered my body!
I was so pleasantly surprised by them when I put them on. No camel toe, no frump…just comfy, stretchy pants that fit like a glove. And for under $40, these were a steal.
No matter your size, you can try any trend you want…all you need is a little confidence!
